Mike shares his witnessing opportunities with a 99 year old woman in a Catholic assisted living home, with a eucharistic minister, with a woman at the St. Francis rectory and with two nuns at a restaurant. Clearly Satan's most powerful tool in blinding the minds of unbelievers is religious indoctrination.
Mr. Metaxes tried unsuccessfully to steer Mike down some rabbit trails. He mentioned he was writing a book on the Reformation... you were supposed to bite. Since he could not redirect Mike's conversation, he just decided to talk over Mike and run out the clock. A cowardly tactic designed to avoid serious discussion.
Mike Gendron called in to a radio program to confront and correct Eric Metaxas. Hear Eric Metaxas on his radio program proclaiming that he is pro-catholic and that Catholics and Seven-Day Adventist are Christians.Hear the audio of Mike Gendron calling in to the program and confronting Eric on this false teaching. Why would a so-called Christian radio network carry a guy like Eric that says something like this? Eric Metaxas has gone after John MacArthur for exposing the Church of Rome? Metaxas works with an organization founded by the late Chuck Colson who helped produce and promote the ecumenical Evangelicals and Catholics Together document. Could this explain the ecumenical compromise of Metaxas?
Mike looks through the lens of Scripture to expose ten fatal errors of Roman Catholicism. One of these errors would be enough to identify Catholicism as a false religion. Evangelicals need to contend against Rome's ecumenical agenda and rescue Catholics from spiritual darkness.
Christian Worldview Radio - Four Fatal Flaws of Catholicism
David Wheaton interviews Mike on the Christian Worldview Radio program and reveals the four major differences between Christianity and Catholicism. Mike answers questions from callers including a Catholic who challenges Mike's teaching.
Eric Teetsel, the Executive Director of the Manhattan Declaration used these slanderous words for those of us who oppose the MD. "I am aware there are a number of ignorant, angry rabble rousers who regularly lie about us to serve their small, twisted propagandas. Some are filled with hate for those who don't comply with their own specific version of Christianity. These fools harm and hinder the Gospel, and are in for a rude awakening upon meeting The Lord.
On the 20th year of the signing of the document Evangelical and Catholics Together, Mike Gendron discusses the negative impact this document has had on evangelicalism. How has ECT led to numerous ecumenical enterprises as well as additional ecumenical documents such as the Manhattan Declaration.
Two decades have passed since the introduction of the controversial accord, “Evangelicals and Catholics Together: The Christian Mission in the Third Millennium.†What has been the long-term impact of the document on the evangelical church? Janet talks it over with Mike Gendron, former Roman Catholic and founder of Proclaiming the Gospel.
Mike discusses the danger of following religious traditions and shows how the unconverted apostle Paul was blinded by similar traditions that blind Roman Catholics today. He explains why Scripture must be everyone's supreme authority for truth and faith. He responds to the Pope dining with homosexuals and transgender inmates and being mobbed by excited nuns.
Mike is interviewed by KKVV Radio in Las Vegas and exposes fatal doctrinal errors in Roman Catholicism. Mike opens with a few comments about using gospel tracts for witnessing, and says he has a tract called "The Greatest News Ever Told." Mike points to some of the recent agreements and accords between Catholics and Evangelicals, and points to Chuck Colson and others that started some of the accords. He then mentions "Manhattan Declaration" in 2009, a unity accord signed by many leading evangelicals. Mike says this caused confusion in the Protestant ranks which can be traced to the confused teachings by the evangelical leaders.
Mike says that Born Again Christians should leave the Catholic Church, and that the Catholics are wrong in the most fundamental teaching of the faith - what it takes to be saved. He then brings up Catholic teaching on salvation, and lists baptism, the Eucharist, indulgences, and other things that have been added to the Gospel of Grace taught in the Bible. Towards the end of the show Mike and Tim discuss Rick Warren, and Mike points to Acts 17:11 saying we should test every man's teaching against the Word of God.
Mike talks about the most influential false teachers in the world today and why they are so successful in deceiving so many. Why are the warnings about false teachers in the Bible being ignored? Why are people so gullible? Why does the good Shepherd allow wolves around His sheep?
Mike discusses the invitation for Pope Franc to speak before Congress on September 2015. Also, the dangers of following religious traditions. Mike also reports on Pope Francis and the Mass of Reparation in the Philippines and how the Pope ignores the past atrocities of his religion while condemning violence in the name of God.
Mike joins Brannon Howse to discuss Governor Jindal of Louisiana hosting the ecumenical prayer rally with the American Family Association. Jindal is not only a Catholic but a Rhode Scholar. Why is this of particular interest? Topic: Mike joins us to talk about Russell Moore declaring that he does not want to see less people with Rosary at an upcoming pro-life function. Why does Mike, as a former Catholic, have an issue with this statement? Topic: Pope Francis declares that no one can get to heaven outside of the Catholic Church.
Paul warned that some would come and preach another Jesus (2 Cor. 11:4). So it should not surprise us that the Jesus of the Catholic Church is not the same Jesus as revealed in the Bible. In this broadcast, Mike shows from the Catechism of the Catholic Church how the Catholic Jesus is an imposter, a counterfeit Christ that cannot save anyone. The Catholic Jesus returns every day to continue the work of redemption on altars throughout the world. His death on Calvary’s cross merely opened the gates of heaven such that Catholic must attain their own salvation and at the same time cooperate in saving their brothers (CCC, 1477). The Catholic Jesus Is not the only sinless mediator because Catholics also have another Mary who “became the cause of salvation for herself and the whole human race” (CCC, 494). Share this broadcast with your Catholic friends so they will know the true Jesus and not die in their sins (John 8:24).
It Is Finished - Three Words Catholics Do Not Understand
The perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice of Christ that satisfied divine justice for all believers was accomplished 2000 years ago. Jesus cried out in victory - "It is finished." The work of salvation is done. The eternal debt for sin has been paid in full. No more offerings, no more sacrifices, no more priests!
Mike looks at city ordinances that promote sinful behavior in the name of "Equal Rights." A male that thinks he is female can now use the female bathroom or showers in public faculties or schools. How should Christians respond to these issues and what is the future going to hold for religious liberties in our own churches and Christian schools?
As Christians who have been entrusted with the truth of Gods Word we need to warn Catholics of the false and fatal teachings that have deceived them.

10. Rome Teaches Doctrines of Demons
11. Rome Rejects God's Promises
In closing, Let us encourage Catholics to search the Scriptures for the truth. There is no higher authority than God and His Word. As you abide in His Word - you will know the truth and the truth will set you free from religious bondage and deception.
Crosstalk Radio on VCY America interviewed Mike on how the Pope and the recent Synod of Bishops is attempting to change The Direction of the Roman Catholic Church. The first Jesuit Pope is aggressively pursuing the Jesuit Agenda to bring all separated brethren back home to Rome (unite the world under the Pope), a goal that's been in place since the Reformation 497 years ago. Shortly after that, the Vatican initiated a counter-reformation headed by Ignatius of Loyola who is responsible for starting the Jesuit order. They were commissioned by the Pope to do whatever it would take to end the Protestant Reformation.
